  1. I'm attempting to remove some smaller drives, regardless of which drive I attempt to remove, it fails with the following error. "Remove drive completed with the error: The was an error during the operation. The error was: The file: (insert any one of various files here) was already found on the target drive (another volume path here). This means this file exists in 2 locations (the drive being removed and the target drive). The removal process will be aborted." Been digging for answers on this one for a few days now, I'm unable to find anything concrete on this one. Ideas?
  2. I've seen the cables for under $10 (got some spares out in the garage). They're not that bad.
  3. The 8 port is the JBOD one. The raid version of the card is in the $250 range. Not sure how that link got jacked. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816101792 ^^ should be right.
  4. $110, 8 ports PCIE, no raid - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=supermicro+8+port&N=-1&isNodeId=1 $30, 4 ports PCI, no raid - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815124020 I have the PCI card, it works fine with Windows server 2012, so I'm fairly positive you wouldn't have any issues with WHS 2011. Don't sweat the compatibility statements. It is slower than other cards, but plenty fast for streaming AV of any sort. I haven't personally used the supermicro card but have heard good things about it else where on the interwebs.
