  1. That's lovely! Thank you @CBers for taking the time to reply!
  2. How's the updates coming along?
  3. Anthony Smith mentioned in 2013, that the 2.0 version of Drive Bender would have USN Journal support. I didn't realise this was missing until I noticed that using Drive Bender stopped Everything (the indexing/search program) from including the pool at all, unless added as a folder instead of a volume, which comes with some hefty downsides. So...that was in 2013. Surely USN journal functionality would be working by now? Can we have a status update, please?
  4. Thanks ruralcricket! I did indeed find a post (after I posted, of course) that indicated that this is the case. I by mistake, thought the errors were related to stalled torrents in the Qbittorrent client. Turns out, it is a rare bug in the DLL they use for the actual torrent handling, and it's not much I can do. Again, thanks for the help!
  5. I just started seeing repeated errors in Windows' system logs: "The IO operation at logical block address 0x1 for Disk 10 (PDO name: \Device\00000077) was retried." Now, Disk 10 is the Drive Bender pool, but a health check from Drive Bender shows absolutely nothing (nor in the log). This means to me, that I have to mount each and every phsyical drive partition and manually run a checkdisk on them, that's about 8 hours per drive. Surely there's a better way to do this? (Also, I would love an "error only" logging level. Much less to sift through)
  6. Maintenance and drive balancing has all run, so it's not that, but after some research I've come to notice that it might be related to Plex slowing down a lot if a folder has too many subfolders. which is exactly what my system would see after installing Drive Bender (previously it was four folders on different drives). I'll look into this.
  7. I'm sorry, I'm not following here. For a different drive pools software? If it makes any difference, my system/boot drive (SSD) where the drive software is installed, is not included in any pool.
  8. Hi! New user with Drive Bender here! After some initial puzzlement I'm quite happy with it all, but I still have one problem I can't get around: Scanning new media files with Plex, takes 10-15 times the time it used to before I had the media on Drive Bender. Reading is still fast and good, but scanning folders is really slow (and possibly just opening large folders in Explorer). Is there anything I can change to alleviate this? Drives are all fine and healthy, none of them are slow either.
