Howdy I've just moved up from an HP Microserver N40L to a Lenovo TS140 and have moved the db pool drives across. When I set db up on the new PC, it found the existing pool OK, but there was a problem. The biggest (6 TB) drive in the pool wasn't being recognised by the OS. I was out of SATA ports on the motherboard, so had connected it via a SAS card. Unfortunately Win 8.1 didn't see this card (and I can't seem to find any drivers for it). So I gave up on that, connected the 6TB directly to the motherboard and connected one of the 2 TB drives via a USB3 caddy as I intend to use db to remove it from the pool to get around the lack of SATA ports. Upon restart, the 6TB and the USB connected 2 TB were in the pool OK. but another 2TB (which had initially been part of the pool) is in db's list of drives but for some reason is showing as a non-pooled drive. I've tried both Pool Options -> Repair this pool & Pool Options -> Restore Pool from connected drives, but to no avail. It's just refusing to join the pool party... Could anyone help me get that drive back into the pool? Thanks -C-
I have an issue. I just recently created a drive with DB however whenever I try to move any folder onto it I stops moving and comes up with an error 0x80040080. I tried moving a smaller folder off the same hard drive and it didn't work (no folders do) however if I move it to another drive it will work fine. I am running WHS11 and using the dashboard on my PC. Not the server. Strange thing is, when I first created the DB pool I moved a folder over fine. Now I can't. Any ideas? Did I set it up wrong? Thanks.
