Drive Bender Error - Following Windows 10 Update

Recommended Posts

Drive Bender has stopped working following the automatic install of the Windows 10 Anniversary update.

I am receiving the following error when starting the application.

Drive Bender Error

An error has occurred when communicating with the server.

All my hard drives are still in Disk Manager and are accessible.

I have tried to reinstall/repair Drive Bender but am then receiving the following error message.

There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

I have this running on three separate PC's running Windows 10 and it has occurred on the two that have updated. The third has not updated yet.

I can confirm the error as well.  Was on the computer the evening before the update and it worked fine.  The next day after the update the pool was gone from drive manager and file explorer.  The drives were there and no errors were noted by DBManager.   Installed dotNetFx35setup.exe and rebooted, but it does not appear to fix it.
