Change Log?

Recommended Posts

We seem to be getting new versions at a furious rate since the New Year.

I'm still on v3.1.0.0. Hesitant to update due to the issues reported of 3.4.0.0.

Would like to see the change log but cant find it since the website redesign. Where has this disappeared to?

I'm on 3.2, I came here to update only to find Cloud Xtender has vanished and Drive Bender is corrupted.  What a mess...

I'm sorry you feel that way.

It's not a mess, just issues that can't be fully tested in a development environment, especially when new enhancements are being added.

Whatever the issues have been, Anthony has worked night and day to fix them.

You're on v3.2, so you're not that far behind.

I am now running v3.6 on 5 different servers, all running without any issues.

Anthony has posted about the "Recent issues with releases".

I see you have posted elsewhere about Cloud Xtender, so I won't answer here.

That is why you have a test bed, there is no excuse for people losing access to their drives from a production update, and whatever other issues I read about.

I wouldn't dare update until it's proven stable.

Famous last words.

Well good luck to them, I have enjoyed using DB for many years.  I hope they sort out their issues.

I wish you would, my quick search has proven futile and nobody seems to want to answer us there.

Thanks.  I've since moved on from windows to sleeping restfully at night with my old love.  My 52TB array now lives on an OpenMediaVault server using SnapRAID+MergeFS plugins as well as the ZFS plugin for my new 10TB pool with 4 striped mirrored vdevs, for shits and giggles.

Good luck all, it's been fun!
